This is a feature of the Digital Module on the Phone system. In order for the terminal to successfully update its firmware the following needs to be configured:. Starting from the first port needing to be upgraded, the IP Office will upgrade all connected phones of the same type needing upgrading in batches. Due to memory requirement, only 10 phones of the same type can be upgraded at a time. If the terminal update feature is not enabled, the terminals will time out and work, but will not have been updated to the latest revision. How do I fix it? Thank you Depends. If this is a phone that works at other jacks but not at this one, you may be plugging into a LAN Ethernet jack, the phone sees juice but isn't an IP Phone so it won't work there, plug into a digital phone "voice" jack.
